Suggested gauge 5 stitches = 1" ; 8 rows = 1" in stocking stitch on 3.25 mm/No. 3 U.S. double pointed needles.

Sample socks knit with 2 skeins of Freshisle Fibers Suffolk wool yarn - approx. 110g/200 yds. per skein, worsted weight (4).

The slipped stitch ribbing pattern gives some interest in knitting, produces a nice texture and fit to the sock, and still meets with male approval in my family for a work sock.
